Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)
A Typical Day in After School Care at the YMCA
3:30pm
YMCA Leaders meet and collect children from the classroom or from the designated collection point at school. Children are signed in by YMCA Leader.
3:45pm
Children walk to the YMCA at 39 Smith St Walkerville with YMCA Leaders.On arrival a snack will be prepared for the children to enjoy. Examples include; sandwich platter, hot dogs, pizzas, fruit platter, milk and juice.
4:00pm
Choice of a variety of craft, games and sporting activities as well as homework opportunities will be offered. For example; Gymnastics, squash, basketball, badminton, board games, easel painting etc.
4:45pm
YMCA Leaders meet and collect children from the designated collection point for extra curricular activities.
Children are signed in by YMCA Leader and walked to the YMCA at 39 Smith St Walkerville.
5:00pm
Snack for late arrivals (including gymnastics 4pm session and other co curricular activities). Second gymnastics session commences.
5:15pm
choice of a variety of craft, games and sporting activities as well as homework opportunities will be offered. For example; board games, easel painting and imaginative play etc.
6:00pm
Session closes.
