Vacation Care
About The Program
Vacation Care operates each day of the school holidays except for public holidays, and the week between Christmas and New Year. Opening hours are 8:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
Our daily timetable inclues both excursions for the children and centre-based activities.
A wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities are provided for the children, and these range from sports and games to art and craft, cooking, team sports, gymnastics fun, large and small group activities, park activities, children's videos, drama and music activities. Please see a copy of our brochure each holiday for a more detailed list of activities to be offered.

Booking Procedures
Registration
Parents or persons making the bookings must complete and sign the YMCA of INEA booking sheet and enrolment form.
- Only one booking sheet needs to be signed for the full program and can cover all members of the same family.
- An individual enrolment form is required for each child.

Full program details are available at least four weeks prior to the holidays commencing. The YMCA encourages parents of children with special needs to book their children in the program at least 1 week prior to commencement. This will assist us to adapt programs to cater for their needs, to be inclusive, and assist in staffing for these children.
What to Bring
- A hat - hats must be worn during ALL outdoor activities
- A drink bottle - if the child does not bring a drink bottle, we will provide a drink bottle and charge $1.90 to the family account.
- Sunscreen - we will provide some sunscreen, but it is recommended that children bring their own.
- Dress - the children will be active throughout the day, please dress appropriately.
- Footwear - please ensure children wear appropriate footwear for the activities for that day.
- Valuables - portable electronic games and music players, mobile phones, and trading cards are easily lost and also present a distraction for the children; thus we ask that children do not bring them.
- Packed lunches on excursion days.
